Western University’s popular complimentary lecture series, Classes Without Quizzes, features the research of Chantelle Richmond, Director of Western’s Indigenous Health Lab, on Thursday, December 5.

Richmond’s lecture, titled”Indigenous peoples and their ties to the land: A global perspective”, will explore how and why processes of environmental change affect the health and social circumstances of Indigenous peoples in Canada and abroad? Discussion will focus on how the special connection between Indigenous peoples and the land is a global unifying theme and how it can also enhance their vulnerability to environmental change.
