Western to open new research facility to support London’s Advanced Manufacturers

Western University will officially open the new Collider Centre for Technology Commercialization (Collider) on Monday, June 23 at 11:00am.

The Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), and Joe Preston, Member of Parliament for Elgin-Middlesex-London, will join officials from Western and industry partners to launch the new facility designed to foster collaboration between researchers and London’s Advanced Manufacturers.

The Collider is located at Western’s Advanced Manufacturing Park, already home to the Fraunhofer Project Centre for Composites Research and the WindEEE Research Institute.
