Chart-topping Canadian electronic duo DVBBS will perform as part of Western University’s Homecoming 2015, which is set for September 25-27.
As part of Homecoming 2015 festivities, Western is teaming with University Students’ Council (USC), PremierLife and Western Alumni to launch #HOCOonthehill – a full day of programming on Saturday, September 26 that starts at 9 a.m. with an electronic dance concert headlined by DVBBS.
DVBBS has enjoyed major success following the release of the international hit, “Tsunami.” A vocal remix, retitled “Tsunami (Jump),” reached number 1 on the U.K. charts in 2014.
A festival-format evening concert, scheduled to start at 7 p.m., will close the one-day #HOCOonthehill event. The artists will be officially announced in the coming weeks.
“#HOCOonthehill is about creating an unforgettable Western Homecoming Experience for students, alumni and members of the London community,” says Trista Walker, Executive Director, Alumni Relations. “Everyone can expect a memorable event with world-class talent.”
Homecoming 2015’s showcase event is expected to draw major crowds, as well as the football game between the Western Mustangs and the Carleton Ravens, which kicks off at 1 p.m.
Tickets for #HOCOonthehill and the Homecoming football game go on sale Wednesday, July 29 at 10 a.m. at https://HOCOonthehill.ca/
