Western University is host on Saturday to Go CODE Girl, a free event that encourages girls in Grades 7–11  to learn about the exciting world of coding and software development, and to discover opportunities in the computing and engineering fields.

Go CODE Girl will educate, inspire and equip girls with the digital skills, confidence and resources needed to pursue education in technology, computing and engineering. More than 50 girls have registered for the event so far.
