Local MPs visit Western to celebrate $66 million federal grant for brain research

Western University will welcome Peter Fragiskatos, Member of Parliament for London North Centre and Kate Young, Member of Parliament for London West, to campus on Friday, September 9 to celebrate the $66 million Canada First Research Excellence Fund grant for Western announced earlier this week. The funding is the largest research grant in the university’s history.

Mr. Fragiskatos and Ms. Young will be joined by Western researchers and senior administration for a formal presentation to be followed by a tour of Western’s world-class cognitive neuroscience and imaging research facilities.
