Filming on campus
The media relations team can assist with finding locations for interviews and b-roll, room bookings and arranging photography and videography inside facilities on campus. Members of the media are free to film and take photos on Western’s campus, however, some buildings require a member of the media relations team to be present during the shoot. We can also arrange for parking passes for media coming to campus.

On-campus broadcast and audio studio
The Faculty of Information and Media Studies is home to an industry-standard broadcast studio equipped with professional lighting, camera and audio for both pre-taped and live video broadcast hits via Dejero. The studio can accommodate Zoom interviews with advance notice. The audio studios are available for pre-recorded audio interviews in a professional recording environment.
There is no fee to use either studio unless the interview takes place outside of the university’s regular business hours. For more information please contact the media relations team directly.
