Western University and its Faculty Association (UWOFA) have reached a tentative agreement which the negotiating teams have jointly agreed to recommend to their respective parties.

The tentative deal means there will be no strike and all services – including classes, labs, tutorials and research – will continue as normal.

Ratification will also require approval from UWOFA membership and Western’s Board of Governors. Details of the tentative contract will not be released publicly until both sides have had an opportunity to vote.

UWOFA represents about 1,650 full- and part-time faculty members at Western.
