Media are invited to attend Engage Western at RBC Place on Tuesday, April 11. Western President Alan Shepard will deliver the keynote address outlining the ways Western works collaboratively with the community in London and region and highlighting future plans.
The event includes breakfast and interactive booths where guests can connect with Western departments and units including Hire WesternU, Community Engaged Learning, The Mary J. Wright Child and Youth Development Clinic, and more.
Guests will hear presentations from Greg Kopp, Northern Tornadoes Project lead researcher and professor of civil and environmental engineering, about emerging trends in severe weather; and Grace Parraga, professor in the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry on respiratory health.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the City of London’s Health & Homelessness Fund for Change.
