On Jan. 26, Canada’s largest fundraising campaign for mental health awareness will spark conversations related to mental health issues across the nation.

Areas of Expertise: The effects of music on emotions, moods and movement, the effects of music on cognition.

Abe Oudshoorn, Associate Professor, Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing, Western University

Areas of Expertise: Mental health equity, nursing leadership and health equity, awareness vs. action, homelessness prevention, poverty and health.

Julie Aitken Schermer, Professor, Department of Psychology, DAN Department of Management & Organizational Studies, Western University

Areas of Expertise: Loneliness, the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on feelings of loneliness, personality, vocational Interests.

David J.A. Dozois, Professor, Psychology and Psychiatry, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Director of the Clinical Psychology Graduate Program, Western University
