The United States and other Western allies have advised citizens to leave Ukraine due to a possible Russian invasion.
As the situation continues to evolve, Western University expert in international politics Marta Dyczok believes we could be on the verge of a major geo-political shift and is available to the media for interviews.
Dyczok, professor of political science and history in the Faculty of Social Science, specializes in international politics and history, with a focus on East Central Europe and Eurasia, specifically Ukraine. She produced an English language show called Ukraine Calling on Public Radio Ukraine featuring interviews with politicians, diplomats, scholars, journalists, activists, artists and others.
Commentary reflects the perspective and scholarly interest of Western faculty members and is not an articulation of official university policy on issues being addressed.
