Federal Byelections
Four members of parliament will be elected in byelections Monday, a major test for Canada’s political parties. 

Sam Routley

Safe Third Country Agreement
The Supreme Court of Canada has upheld the Safe Third Country Agreement which states that migrants must seek asylum in the first of the two countries (either the U.S. or Canada) they land in, making it illegal to cross the border and seek asylum in the other country.
