Tuesday morning it was announced that scientists studying fusion energy at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California were able to create more energy with a nuclear fusion reaction than it took to facilitate the reaction. It is considered a major breakthrough in the quest for nuclear fusion as a reliable source of green energy.
